I wonder about my Hummels lives before they came to my hands. Hold a Hummel with a TMK-1 with a year stamp 1936. You know where in history they were made and what the Artisan was living with daily.
I had Hummels as a child in CA presented at gifts. I thought they were friends. It took living in Germany during the late 1960-1974 being there as a military wife and working for the USEUR to appreciate my maternal heritage. I was fortunate to travel all over West Germany and to West Berlin.
What I learned was the pride of Bavaria (Goebel Hummel) was M.I.Hummel. She instilled that love to the artisans.
There are so many mysteries around on Hummels it is amazing. Initials on a tree, directions to a town on a bench, my favorite are the eye expressions. Nothing is better than the Newspaper headlines of "Latest News".
Now after 44 years in software (yes, pre internet) and living the pressure life of high tech technical sales and traveling many millions of miles at 40,000 ft. I've come full circle. Back to Hummels.
We are here to find THAT Hummel at a fair price and from Estates of Loving people usually master Collectors with hundreds of figurines.
Take a look, ask questions, let me know how I can help.
