Sounds of the flute and Mr. Crow flies in to see where the sound is coming from. Strange sounds and Mr. Crow makes a cawing sound along with the music from the boy's horn; the boy stops playing and begins a conversation with Mr. Crow.
He asks Mr. Crow if he knows more songs. Mr. Crow squawks a melody of loud and long sounds to the boy's amusement. The friends laughed and squawked together. That was the summer for the two buddies laughing and making music together.
